TITH Program Ads - Tournament in the Hills
is the biggest event of the year for the band boosters. It is
one of our biggest fundraisers and a lot of fun. A program is
put together to list the various bands performing. We also provide
space for advertisers. This is a great way to get friends, family,
neighbors, workplace and others involved. Ads run from $250 for
the back cover to $30 for a business card size. Again, this is
also a 50/50 fundraiser, so a great way to get that student account

Cherry on Top Fundraiser – On Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 10:00am until 11:00pm, 25% of your purchases at Cherry on Top in Mission Viejo will go to our program! BRING THIS FLYER |
Graduation Lei Fundraiser Form – The last fundraiser of the 2007-2008 school year is the Graduation Lei Fundraiser. Grocery Card Sign Ups – Ralphs, Albertsons,
Vons/Pavilions, we all have to grocery shop. Register your card
numbers with the boosters and help yourself at the same time!
Every time you swipe your card the boosters get between 2 and
5%. You can email Laura Nygaard with your grocery card numbers. |
Silent Auction at Back to School Night –
On Thursday, October 11, 2007, we will be raising money at the THHS Back-to-School Night. It is a custom for
the Band Boosters to hold a Silent Auction on the Quad. Items
can be donated for this purpose; everything from baskets of cleaning
supplies to Oakley sunglasses. This is a 50/50 fundraiser. This
means that whatever you donate, 50% of what it sells for will
be put in your students account. Silent

Family Dine Out Nights – Through out
the year we like to have a few family dine out nights that are
also fundraisers. Usually local restaurants such as Ruby’s,
will let you hold a fundraiser and you make a certain percentage
from sales when customers bring in a flyer. This is a great way
for the group to get together and have fun. Dates

Staples will donate $3.00 to THHS Instrumental Music Program for every eligible ink or laser toner cartridge we collect. That means money into our accounts! Please help us by saving and recycling your old ink/toner cartridges! We’ll even offer some added incentive…Bring your used ink/toner cartridges to the next Booster Meeting and earn participation points, too! You’ll earn twice (credit toward the music program and participation points)! There’s no reason not to participate! If you work in an office, ask your IT department to help you save the old cartridges. Or, collect your old cartridges at home. Then, bring them to our next booster meeting and you’ll earn points and money all in one easy step! Thanks for recycling with us! Framing Corner – Have your pictures framed and 20% will go back to the music program. The Framing Corner is located at 27678 Santa Margarita Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA. Community Discount Cards – This is a
50/50 fundraiser. The cards sell for $10 and the boosters get
back $8 of that. This means that $4 would go in your students
account for every card sold. They are easy to sell. Just remember
to get them from the boosters not at roundup. |
Casino Night - One the most FUN & EXCITING fundraisers of the entire year is the annual Casino Night! This year's edition will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the William Lyon Homes Ballroom, Bell Tower Regional Community Center in Rancho Santa Margarita, California from
6:00pm until 11:00pm. Casino style games like blackjack, craps and roulette are in play, as well as a poker tournament. Come out and enjoy the fun and win some prizes!!! [FLYER] |
Entertainment Books – This is a new
fundraiser we just started in 2005/2006. I am sure most of us
have either purchased one in the past or have seen one. It is
a great book with lots of discounts and 2 for 1 offers. This year
the book is again $35 for the Orange County edition. Again they
are running the special that when you sell 10 you get 2 free!

Pom Pom Sales – At each home football
game we have a table to sell pom poms. These are tricolored hand
held pom poms to help promote school spirit. Last year, 2006/2007,
was our second year and it was very successful. |
Recycling – This year we are starting
a recycling program for bottles and cans. We go through a lot
of water and the bottles were just getting thrown away! We have
great recycling boxes to help us collect them this year. We have
also been given permission to have them out at football games.
This is a great way to help the program and the environment. Lisette
Pedroncelli is working on this but I am sure she could use help.
Since this is a year round job, the chairs will earn all their
points. |
Christmas Tree Lot – Each year we help
at the local Christmas Tree Lot, known as the Big White Tent.
The kids love it and they do work hard. They can make tips loading
and carrying trees. We will have sign ups in November for this,
it is usually one of the first weekends in December. |
See’s Candies ~ Christmas - Who doesn’t love See’s Candies? They are a recognizable
name and easy to sell. There are different price points for the
different packages. It is a 50/50 fundraiser again, and 50% of
the profit earned will go into your students account. Get going
on talking this up to family and friends. It makes great gifts
for work! |

Decals – Do you have a decal on your car of any one of the ensembles in the music program? If you don't, then contact the chairperson to purchase the decal and be a proud parent! |
End of the Year DVD & CD - Towards the end of the year, we will sell DVD's and Photo CD's of the compliation of videos and photos from all ensembles throughout the year. Submit your photos to Quincy Nguyen and your videos to Raul Escobar! Capture the memories of your student in one of the best music programs around! |
Graduation Leis – We order leis straight from Hawaii and sell them as a fundraiser on the day of graduation. |
Ink Cartridge Recycling –We all know recycling is a good thing and so is raising money for Trabuco Hills High School Instrumental Music Program! Now, you can do BOTH!!!!
