For the 2008-2009 school year, Myles
Yates is in his 7th year as a Marching Instructor for the Marching
Band. Myles attended Trabuco Hills High School from 1997-2001. He
graduated from Trabuco Hills Class 2001 with a regular diploma.
He was a member of the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit for four
seasons (1997-2000). He played Alto Saxophone his freshman and sophomore
year. Due to circumstances (graduating tuba players), Myles decided
to play Tuba second semester of his sophomore year. Myles ended
up becoming Tuba/Low Brass section leader for the 1999 and 2000
marching seasons. Myles is currently enrolled at Saddleback
College striving to amount enough credits to transfer to bigger
and better things.
During the summer of 2003, Myles was
a first year member of the Contra line for the Pacific
Crest Drum & Bugle Corps.
During the 2001 marching season, Myles
worked with El
Toro High School as a visual and brass instructor. He returned
to Trabuco Hills as a Marching Technician in 2002. In 2006, he
was on the Visual Staff at Santa
Margarita Catholic High School for the first time. |
